New Orleans

Husband and wife photographers Arnold Zann and Margo Taussig Pinkerton have traveled the world for decades for their work and fine-art. They have long been attracted to the unique and eclectic nature of New Orleans’ French Quarter with its ever-changing cast of characters, varying scenes, and different nuances of color and light. This collection blends their two interpretations of this amazing city. Arnie is drawn to the visceral and sometimes raw aspects of New Orleans, while Margo is attracted to light and shadow, line and form, regardless of the subject. NEW ORLEANS is their labor of love.

A professional photographer since 1982, Margo Taussig Pinkerton has traveled the world for travel, corporate, and editorial clients with stock images regularly published in National Geographic Traveler, Caribbean Travel & Life, GEO, and a host of other journals, calendars, and coffee-table books. Margo also led photo adventures north of the Arctic Circle. With dozens of exhibitions and awards spanning more than 35 years, Margo’s photographs are in museums, digital archives, and collections worldwide. Now retired from commercial work, she and her husband run Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures.
