The Post-Utilitarian Architecture

The Post-Utilitarian Architecture is a series devoted to the interiors of buildings from the communist period that lost their practical use. Built with the overarching purpose of serving the nation, they lost their functions over the years and the collapse of the system. They are waiting in abeyance for a new life or for degradation. During the pandemic time and the closure of theaters, cinemas, schools and all places of social gathering, these places acquire other contemporary meanings.

I'm photographer based in Cracow/Poland.
