An Old Story

September 2019. Torrential rains on the coast of Murcia región (Spain) gave rise to severe floods that caused significant material damage and worse, the loss of human lives. This report was carried out in the town of Los Alcázares 4 days after the end of the cold front. It is located on the banks of Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, the "Mar Menor", and it is surrounded by extensive agricultural areas. When it rains, all the fallen water goes straight into the lagoon, dragging everything in its path. Climate change, in addition to four decades of negligent urban management.

I am a graduate on photography and visual arts from Elche University (Alicante, Spain). Since I was very young I was attracted by the world of image, and in 1982 I signed in my town photographic association. I have taken part in some national and international contests having been awarded with several prizes and mentions. In 1991 due to personal reasons, I left photography for 12 years.
