This portfolio is an attempt to engage the viewer with the poetry of the water reflections in a new and complex way. The reflections are given an independent character and identity by being inverted. This realistic reversal puts the viewer in a vantage point to see and appreciate them differently. There is a harmonious marriage of the water reflections and the physical surroundings that contain trees, foliage, and humans. These photos instill considerable amounts of ambiguity to the viewing experience making it hard to assign what is a reflection and what is concrete reality before the lens.
