I have been photographing moments of life on the Polynesian lagoon for some time. My minimalist photos are far from the exuberance that we attribute to Polynesia but through these photos I would like to show the fragility of this life on the water: the pontoons, the pearl farms and the small islets, all this can disappear with a cyclone, a very strong swell or simply by the passage of time.
