Drive-in Live Concert

Thomas Buttenschøn performs a drive-in concert in Aarhus, Denmark

Denmark’s drive-in concerts could be the future of live music in these Corona times. These concerts show us how to have a good time while keeping a safe distance from strangers.

In the city of Aarhus, Denmark musicians are performing to 2,000 people sitting in their cars.
All sound for the concerts is broadcast to car radios via an FM signal. Engines must be switched off and the audience are not allowed to leave their cars, though they can roll down one window on the left-hand side to cheer the performers.
