Parkinson came into his life and he became an artist.

This book is about a man, my grandfather.
About a disease, Parkinson’s.
About the symptoms and the consequences.

I basically focus on the surprising outcome of the disease in my grandfather, but the book not only talks about him, it represents millions of people around the world that became a file number because of their medical condition. If we take time and look inside the files we can find amazing life stories and a whole lot more than just medical records.

I was born in Mexico City in 1976, I have a degree and a master’s degree in clinical and educational psychology. In 2009 I became a professional photographer.
My work has been included in national and international exhibitions
and has received various awards and recognitions throughout the years. I have published three photobooks, two were self-published and the last one “Silent Songs” (2018) was a co edition between Editorial RM and Editorial Inframundo. Wolf Hans is my latest photobook and it was edited in 2019 during the Photobook as Object Workshop (Tokyo) by Yumi Goto and Jan Rosseel.
