E-migrants is an ongoing project started in 2016 and is a series of diptychs trying to portray migrants not as invaders of Europe, as actual right wing politics want to depict them, but as emigrants escaping from their native lands in search of a better life. Each person has a story and an exhausting journey to tell, but nobody wants to talk about their staying in Libya, where they' ve all been imprisoned, robbed and abused, basically treated as slaves. I've asked them to show me anything they could bring with them from home, but just few had something, like a ring, shorts or a t-shirt.
