''All of a sudden, I noticed I'm jumping of the ground and floating in the air. In the beginning I did not feel physical pain but rather the shock and a giant bubble in absolute silence.I thought I was cut of from the reality as everything went numb''. Once a soldier and now a mobile phone technician and the father of two years old daughter. Nyi Myo is 31 years old who lost his left leg when he stepped on a landmine during a conflict in the eastern part of Myanmar. Landmines still wound and kill indiscriminately, posing a severe danger to human being even decades after the conflict has ended.
