The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center is one of the most eye catching and striking architectural buildings in the rapidly developing capital of Azerbaijan. Finished in 2013, it was meant as a symbol of Azerbaijan's hopes and dreams since the country broke away from Soviet rule in 1991. The flow of modernism, elegance and ambition that characterises this building are typical for the direction Azerbaijan is aiming for in the future that awaits this fascinating country.

Born in 1983, I was drawn to the sky since a young age.
I started glider flying at the age of 14 and at the age of 20 I had my first job as an airline pilot.
Now, flying as a pilot on the Boeing 747 freighter all over the world, I always carry my camera with me to immortalize the world from above and through my eyes.
