presents an overview of David Magee’s approach to landscape
photography.
The images are reproduced with meticulous attention to detail,
from the print production to the hand crafted binding and choice
of papers used throughout. Square in format, exquisitely printed,
bound in hand made Japanese paper. Featuring gold and
translucent foiling, the book is an invaluable addition to any
discerning collection of fine-art photography, especially for

Outside, is a gallery in itself with a collection of forty-seven plates
that encapsulate the essence of his photography.

David Magee (b.1963) is an Irish Artist. He has been making photographs outside, Working primarily before dawn and in the darker hours. With an alluringly distinctive style offering the viewer a point in time to reflect and be drawn into a world of quietude, contemplation and tranquility­.

Working predominantly in series, Magee’s work explores thresholds - between land and sea, light and shadow, presence and absence - inviting quiet, contemplative
engagement.
