I have a great passion for stairs in all shapes and colors. This serie
shows some of the bedst staircases in Denmark and Scandinavia
right now. It´s the New Nordic Architecture at ist best.

I am Kirstine Mengel. An award-winning Danish architectural photographer specializing in creating space and capturing the lines in architecture, art and design. My photographic style is influenced by visual calmness and purity, light and minimalism. My eye for minimalism makes me perpetually strive for calmness in each image.

To me, architecture is not just an inanimate product, but a dynamic artform with a purpose. And a topic which stands very close to my heart. Architecture is what I am passionate about as a photographer.
