Monochrome Flowers

  • Prize
Silver in Nature/Flowers, Silver in Nature/Flowers

Flowers are most often photographed in brilliant color, and for good reason: their
sometimes mild, often extravagant color is their glory. But by carefully lighting them in
a studio, and converting the images to a monochrome, we are can see past their frequently
blinding coloration to observe and enjoy their delicate, fine structure, texture, and beauty.
Hopefully these images tell a story you might otherwise miss.
