The Ghosts of Sarajevo

This series shows the scarred buildings of Sarajevo. Even now, 20 years after the end of
the siege, the brutal past is very present, in the shape of all those holes, marks, and
scars on the city's buildings.

I want to show that there can not be a psychological healing of a society if they live
surrounded by reminders and triggers of their traumatic experience.

Sarajevo is a city of ghosts, a city of scars, a city of memories.
