swim with Polar bears.
Polar bears known to be APEX predator and as such they are a
perfect subject to make an effort to dispel the myth. After 35 years
filming on the edge of wilderness and common sense I thought i
can and i did dive with the bear family.
Early summer bear must swim from island to island to find food.
My understanding was that in that event the mother will be more
attentive to her young one swimming than to me in the water -
Adam, my filmmaker and i were floating 200 yard away from the
arriving family, the family kept swimming directly at us...when
they were at 20 feet away we submerge to 10feet below looking
up seeing these fearsome and beautiful species passing over our
heads in peace and perfect harmony
