Green Seas

In the North, I saw the granite peaks smoke like volcanoes in the
middle of the night. I saw the Gods of Valhalla stretch out their limbs
towards the land. I saw the spirits of deceased men and women
escape our world, in their quest for a place to rest in peace. I saw
foxes paint the skies with their tails. I saw dragons exhale their breath
in the sky and spirits of warriors dance in the black of the night. I saw
schools of herring reflected in the sky, moving in unison among the
stars. But when I came home, they told me I had seen the Northern
Lights... What do they know?
