I was sitting under a tree in Canberra, Australia, admiring the autumn color, when I realised that a small fly was sitting next to me, soaking up the warm sun. I grabbed my camera and photographed him using a specially adapted rig, based on a Nikon microscope objective. I used the autumn leaves for a richly colored background.
