Over the last years I photographed the main buildings in the most significant European cities, with special focus on buildings that were set up in the last ten years. Prior to each trip, I carried out methodic inquiries and deep surveys and, as a matter of fact, it came out that the majority of such buildings do have two aspects in common.
Firstly, their prominence, their importance and devotion to aesthetics. It is clear how the works produced by the contemporary society, even the most articulated ones, do follow their routes, which are more and more characterized by attention to exteriority. It is worth noting however that such buildings do not lack functionality.
Secondly, the stylistic and planning uniformity. In each country we find so similar ideas and materials that the majority of times are not connected with the local tradition at all and therefore it could be sometimes hard to place a certain building into a country, if unknown, rather than into another one.
It is as if the European Union, that has not fully reached a political and a social union yet, succeeded somehow at an architectural level.
I based this project on the above mentioned topics, emphasizing in my subjects their common aesthetic aspects, working on the lines, the materials, the reflections and by playing with various perspectives. I searched in them the pureness of the forms, in order to create a unique context representing our age.

Born in Florence, Italy, on 03 30 1965, where he still lives. In 1998 he graduates from the photography school Art.E in Florence. From 2003 to 2005 he develops the project â??Reflexionsâ?? in Paris, with others photographers under the supervision of Giorgia Fiorio and Gabriel Bauret. Then He had an intense exhibition activity in Italy and abroad either in public than private museums and gallery, the last one in saint Petersburg at the photography festival in september 2010. He got several prizes. First prize in A better world in 2008, in portfolio ariosto 2007, honored mention in 2008 and 2009 in italian professional photographer association Tau Visual award for photojournalism, two honored mention in IPA international photographer awards PRO in 2010.
He published in several magazines, one of them Vanity fair.
In 2008 he published his first book Mirror
