Nell Freeman grew up in New York and London.

She currently shoots editorial work on commission for the Guardian,
however she has also been published in the Independent, the Times, the
Observer, the Irish Times, Marie Claire (UK and USA), and Time Out.

She shoots regularly on commission for international NGOs and commercial clients.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries, museums and universities in the US, UK, France and Kenya.
