Michael McAllister is a fine art photographer from Charlotte, North Carolina, whose work has been included in international juried shows at Soho Photo in New York City, TCC Photo/Gallery in Texas, and, currently, as part of the 5th Annual Juried Plastic Camera Show at the RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco.
He is a contributor to Win-Initiative, a New York-based stock photo agency that fuses an artistic sensibility with commercial insight, and is part of the editorial team that publishes BLUR, an international e-magazine dedicated to fine art photography read in 170 countries around the world.
Michael earned his B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an A.A.S. degree in Photographic Technology. He is a devout believer in the Holga/plastic camera aesthetic, but he occasionally loses his faith and picks up his digital rangefinder or his vintage â??folder,â?? a 1938 Kodak Six-20, instead.
