On the surface my work is neither here nor there as an overall collection as my work takes two different veins. The first that is reflective, looking back the ideas of remembering, memory but removed from the self. Of sight what we see and what we actually see. Of history and where we come from. They are works that represent fragments of the world. They are disjointed images and only show us that we choose what we want to remember and what we don?t. Not actually remembering the event but remembering the photo album or home video that captured that particular time.
And on the second a humorous or exterior look at relationships, mass media, and myself.
These works are the starting points that have formed me as I have grown and become an artist, learning my place in contemporary art.
