What is memory?
Something that helps us build a better future. Something that lets us sink into nostalgia. Something that allows us to remain ourselves. Memories we want to forget. Memories we never want to lose. And one day, everything disappears, and we ourselves become memory.
Within the city, there are places like drifts where memories gather. Places isolated from everyday life — quiet, abandoned, almost forgotten. Places where people can leave behind the weight of their memories. Places that free them from the guilt of forgetting.

I'm an artist and graphic designer living in Tokyo. In my production process, I visualize evidence to prove my hypothesis. I discovered that shooting large format 8x10 film with 100-year-old uncoated lenses and printing with platinum palladium was the best way to bring my images to life. Currently, I am mainly producing contact prints using 8x10-inch film, but I am looking to develop this in the future and realize more original expressions.
