In the heart of winter, where silence reigns and temperatures plunge to extremes, I seek moments where nature reveals its quiet drama. Captured at sunrise on Abraham Lake, Alberta, in a staggering -36°C wind chill. The frozen methane bubbles beneath the ice, the snow-covered peaks, and the dramatic sky converge to create a surreal winter tableau. Human presence adds scale and solitude to this extreme landscape.
