February 19, 2026, Milano, Italy: American Olympian figure skater ALYSA LIU, 20, USA jumps for joy after winning the gold, in the Figure Skating Women's Singles at the XXV Olympic Winter Games, at the Milano Ice Skating Arena, day 13 of games. America's first individual women's gold since 2002. While her competitors both applaud Alysa with 226.79 on the podium, on left KAORI SAKAMOTO, 25, of Japan silver medal winner with 222.10 and her teammate AMI NAKAI, 17, who took home the bronze with 219.85. 29 skaters from 22 nations competed on 17th, in the 'Short Program' & tonite's 'Free Skate'.
