Event: SOAR (Southern Ontario Associates of Racing) series - Race 1

These series of images were taken prior to the race event. There was excitement and anxiety in the air. Everyone busy getting stuff done - changing tires, getting their suits ready, and preparing themselves. It was a cold and a wet day, and I walked around looking at the kind of prep work both racers and the team were doing. All the images were taken without any interference - like a silent observer, observing from a distance.

I'm a Photographer and an indie filmmaker based out of Toronto, Canada, orignially from Kerala, India. I picked up a camera when I was 8 years or so. Growing up, there was always a camera around. In 2013, I started shooting digital and currently, I shoot both analog (35mm film) and digital. My favourite genre of photography is Landscape, followed by Street. I am a great fan of natural lighting and usually prefer outdoor photography.

To me, photos are more about being able to go back in time and relive moments. Also, being a filmmaker, I'm deeply motivated by storytelling.
