King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Ithra - Arabic for enrichment - was commissioned by Saudi Aramco and inaugurated in 2016 on the site of the Kingdom's first commercial oilfield, discovered in 1938. Architect Snøhetta translated that layered history into spatial form: underground levels represent the past, ground floor the present, the 90-metre tower the future. Inside, the ribbed atrium ceiling follows the same parametric geometry, not decorative, but continuous.

German/Australian documentary and fine art photographer whose work explores landscape, culture, industry, and human experience through photography and mixed media approaches. Her practice combines documentary realism with artistic experimentation, including alternative photographic processes and installation-based presentation. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Germany, Australia, Myanmar, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
