Winter Memory

Photographed in Yellowstone National Park, this stand of cottonwood trees is rendered through intentional camera movement, softening form and dissolving detail. The technique transforms the landscape into an impression rather than a record, evoking memory, stillness, and the quiet rhythm of winter. What remains is not a description of place, but a sense of how it felt to stand there.

I am an award-winning underwater and equine photographer based in the UK. After a successful career as a City stockbroker, I now channel my passion into capturing the beauty of marine life and the spirit of wild horses.
