This frame captures a fleeting, ordinary moment suspended between guidance and independence, stillness and motion. On a beach at dusk, mother and child stand facing one another. She guides him toward a steady gait while maintaining a deliberate distance. As waves break upon the shore, life finds its continuity in the interplay of movement and rest. Every step the child ventures is a step toward discovering the world.

I am a Chinese photographer currently based in Paris. I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Photography at Université Paris 8. My photographic projects mainly focus on nature and the human body, family imagery, as well as experimental photography.
