The series is a quiet exploration of trees as part of lived cultural landscapes. Moving between forest, use and designed order, the images do not define landscape but observe it. The reduction to black and white shifts attention to form, rhythm and condition. The work follows a consistently reduced approach, focusing on subtle, often overlooked moments.

I work with analog photography, using large-format cameras.
I am fascinated by what happens when time, light and silence interact.
The slow pace of work demands patience and attention. It opens up space for perception.

I find my inspiration in nature, in the immediate surroundings, in transitions of light and weather, of proximity and distance.
I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the inconspicuous, the quietly present.
I consider myself a painter of light.
