African masks have always fascinated me, in a sort of artistic "mal d'Africa": it is this fascination that gave birth to images of masks in my vision of some vertically oriented photos in my work begun in 2024 on the shores of the Greek island of Leros in the Aegean. My imaginative "visions" were then supported by the AI of photo editing PS.

GP was born in Italy in 1950. He followed classical studies in Rome, where he graduated in 1974 in MD.
Specializing in medical imaging in 1978, then Professor of Medical Imaging, interested simultaneously to artistic imaging. Since 2010 he retired from the University and works as a photographer on personal projects, as : “Terroirs”, “W.W.W: Who Watches Whom. “; "Ice & Ikebana",and so on.
He got recognition by Sony WPO, IPA Lucie Foundation, LensCulture, TIFA.Px3. Monochrome Awards.
He joined in 2019 the Magazine Camerapixo.
Current exhibitions: Abstract art, Rupert Museum, South Africa.
