Titled “Pattern,” this photograph plays on the dual meaning of the word. At first glance, the image reveals a rigid architectural sequence—rows of angled panels forming a wave-like structure. But a closer look uncovers a second layer: subtle shadows cast inside each panel, creating another pattern within the pattern. The repetition is not static; it shifts with light, angle, and time. This work reflects my interest in how order and complexity often coexist in overlooked details of built environments.

I’m a South Korea–based photographer drawn to stillness, structure, and the subtle rhythms of everyday spaces. With a background in science and surgery, I tend to see the world through a lens of precision—yet I seek poetry in shadow, repetition, and silence. I mostly shoot with Leica gear, exploring themes of minimalism and abstraction in the urban and architectural details around me.
