"After the last tune has played" depicts a world long after the fall of humankind. A solitary violin wheathered by time lies in a patch of land reclaimed by nature. There is scope for the viewer to imagine the remnants of civilization silhouetted against an apocalyptic horizon. Resilient blooms and vegetation rise towards a distant light symbolising hope, a new dawn and a new beginning. This image speaks of memory, loss, and nature’s quiet triumph. The story of this image becomes that of a legend that speaks of a species now only echoed in the music it left behind.
