"The Chimera" was born from a reflection on the contemporary landscape and the use of artificial intelligence as a tool for reinvention. Starting from photographs taken in the outskirts, I insert imaginary archaeological elements such as prehistoric remains, rock engravings, and lost objects, extending the journey all the way to the sea. The presented images reveal fragments of fiction that transform real spaces into a visual mythology, where what we see is never entirely what it seems.

Francesco Capasso was born in Naples in 2001. He approached visual art and photography during adolescence, developing a research practice focused on forms and peripheral landscapes. His artistic inquiry evolved into a personal reflection. His work is based on a process of subtraction: stripping reality of its name, function, and narratability to reveal its silent structure. Marginal spaces, technical surfaces, residual elements—each subject is treated as raw material to be analyzed, reduced, dissected. Since 2020, he has been attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples
