Stuart Lawson is a British currently based in France. A lifelong photographer, Stuart rekindled his passion for the art in 2015 when he was granted unprecedented access to the Perm Ballet School and the ballet troupe itself. Over the next three years, he documented the lives of these ballet dancers, immersing himself in their world. This experience led him to focus on studio photography in Moscow, where he developed his distinctive style that captures not only the skill but also the emotions of the dancers.
