when I worked on independant films as the lighting director, I would often shoot stills when my task was completed. The resulting images show glimpses of a world of filmaking that seems to have all but disappeared.
Awards I worked as a cinematographer until MS made it impossible for me to shoot anymore.I wanted to continue making images and to tell stories , so I began to work at my old passion, making stills. I quickly learned it took an entirely different approach and commitment than I was used to, but I love the work . Ive had 6 exhibitions, each new work, and 3 of my photos have been honourable mentions in large competitions.(Magnum,International B&W).Last month I made a piece for the Nova Scotia Arts awards. So I feel more confident as a still photographer. I am hoping to get more opportunities to work
