Thirst

An elephant relishing each trunkful of precious liquid it draws from this life giving cistern. It is the worst draught in Kenyas memory. Finding water is a priority for both man and wildlife. Many of the natural sources have dried up. All travel kilometers to find their daily ration. With the dwindling supply, finding a reliable source becomes increasingly harder everyday and the competition is fierce, creating conflicts where none existed before. This small cache of water is one of the few life lines remaining for the local wildlife.
