Imitation hometown

I met Chinatown for the first time in 2017, felt strange and curious about the culture that resembled Taiwan.I can recognize it as my hometown, but I also know it is a huge fake.
The image was re-photographed, and developed with different types of red pigments. I use these process of producing images, to make a response to my observations about ChinaTown : copying and culture expanding.
Using images as questions, I want to ask, "What is the real culture of Taiwan? What is the relationship between Taiwanese and those Chinatowns?"
