During 2023, I lived in an off-grid community in the Scottish Highlands. Initially a documentation project, it transformed me profoundly as a photographer and individual. Immersed in their lifestyle, I volunteered in gardens, learning sustainable practices. Photography became a vehicle for deep connection, with authentic portraits capturing their resilient, interconnected lives. This experience signifies my personal and artistic growth, highlighting the beauty of alternative living. I aim to inspire others through my work and plan to explore more UK-based eco-communities for a future book.
