I had been planning for three years to visit this magnificent place left behind by human impact where only a great spirit of adventure determination and great love and respect for the mountains make it possible. This shot was taken late afternoon and during an intense summer rain at an altitude of 3,000 metres where the best possible and imaginable conditions were realised in a mountain landscape.
