The theme of this series is a contemplation of time and space. People often perceive history's allure through famous historical sites. Yet, during my walks in Beijing's imperial gardens, the stones and trees resonated with me. Beyond historical buildings, these elements serve as vessels of history, silent witnesses to the past. Often overlooked, they bear profound marks of time. I capture stones and trees, isolate details, and integrate them with burnt paper textures. By reassembling these elements into an imagined historical tapestry, I break free from time and space, giving them new life.
