My photographs of this silo are radically far from reality.
What is perceived is the least essential aspect of these constructions: the enormous grain deposits are inaccessible.
Without a photograph of the silo's exterior, the images in this collection could a factory building of any kind or a site on the Moon.
By decontextualizing spaces, photography creates a different reality in which rooms, pipes, and machinery have a meaning that depends solely on the perception of the viewer. This perception is based on what was perceived and decontextualized by the photographer.
