Tiny Flowers

I found myself drawing scenes of destruction while watching footage of the Ukrainian war. There should have been people's lives and children's laughter there. When I contemplated the unreasonableness and cruelty of having these things taken away so suddenly, I felt the urge to add flowers to the scene. This artwork, a combination of drawings and photographs of flowers, was created to mourn and remember the lives lost. Tiny flowers and people living on the battlefield overlapped in my mind.

I am trying to explore my subconscious and visualize it. This is because I was able to be healed and take a positive attitude by doing so. I have lived in the world of commercial photography for a long time, but for the rest of my days, I would like to look at and express the difficulty of being alive and the darkness of the heart that we all experience.
