"The Willow Workshop" Is an Image that was taken at Musgrove Willows in Somerset whilst I was carrying out a documentary project on their farm. The Image really helps shape their story as you get to see inside their main working environment and you get to take a little look at what they manufacture.
The Image is part of a series titled 'The Somerset Willow Farmers" where my aim is to show the Somerset art of willow crafting and help to weave a path through a traditional landscape where the skills, character and expertise of the present day farmers are captured.
I am a documentary landscape Photographer based in Somerset, UK. I am currently studying a BA Hons degree in Photography and Visual Cultures at the University Centre Weston. I like to focus my work on the changes and connections of the living and decaying environments in which we call home.
