I burned pages of fashion magazines to transform stereotypical images, models symbolic of the aspiration of our desire for harmony and fascination, into fiery or ashen faces. Each photo of this series corresponds to a detailed image of a burning page of a magazine with fashion photo shoots or advertisements in the field of fashion and
lifestyle, especially women's. These are photographs of photographs, which however receive a different meaning when they are incinerated. In this way ethereal faces, which promote eternal beauty, suddenly become mortal and contingent.
My aim is to capture extraordinary out of ordinary and to express it, wherever it might be: buildings, people or nature.
