The restrictions of the global pandemic encouraged many of us to appreciate what we found close to home and for me, that has meant exploring my nearest green space in the new city of Milton Keynes. Built as a city within a forest, one of the forefathers founding principles for the city was that nobody should live further than 900 yards from green open space. '900 Yards' documents the diversity of the people in my community who I meet in the space and captures the unifying experience we share through our innate longing to draw closer to nature.
