Monument of Remembrance: A Journey Through Shadows

This poignant photograph transports us to the heart of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial. The scene unfolds within a grid of 2,711 concrete stelae, each standing as a silent witness to the unfathomable tragedy of the Holocaust.

The stelae vary in height, their monolithic forms creating a symmetrical labyrinth. As we peer down one of the narrow corridors, the play of light and shadow is haunting.
