She

"She" is a series of images documenting the women artists around me in their private working spaces, their studios. By using large format analog photography, I intend to hold the viewers' gaze longer, reflecting how I see them. What do we see when we see a woman artist? I see their strength, their intelligence, and their ambition. By including my self-portrait, as one of them, I see them as I see myself.

She received her M.F.A. in Photography and Media from the California Institute of the Arts in 2024.
