RAILROAD TO HEAVEN

The photo is taken in Toronto, Canada and shows the new condo district being built. It represents the ever growing immigration the country is barely managing to cope with. Housing prices have become so high that people can't afford their own home and have to rent. Even constant expansion of the cities and overwhelming amount of ongoing construction can't stop the lightning speed housing prices grow with.

I was born in Moscow, Russia in the early 1980-s.
Finished Photography BA course in 2013 and in 2015 graduated from a 1 year course of Digital Compositing for cinema. Doing some freelance work in both photography and compositing sometimes.
In 2010-s I moved to Canada, spend 5 years there and now live in the Netherlands.
I always stick to pure photography with no means of adaptation or installation. Transforming a real object into an interpretable artistic image by composition, withdrawing it out of the context, making it independent and giving it a new life is what photography means to me.
