A gondolier prepares to start another day on the famous waters by the Grand Canal in Venice. Shot well before dawn, a wide aperture and higher ISO was needed to record the image, assuring a good exposure. A single lamp seems to beckon the gondola as it passes beneath the Bridge Of Sighs. A mono conversion with a slight vignette add an aethereal touch.
Chris started building a powerful portfolio of landscape photography back in 2005. Based at his gallery in York, U.K. he runs landscape photography workshops and courses in the U.K and in Europe and is a regular speaker at photographic societies and events across Great Britain.
