Sirens of the Void II
Experimental macro photography studying the behaviors and interactions between ferrofluid and a variety of water-based paints, solvents, and wetting agents. These interactions, while controlled, produced unexpected ‘explosions’ and formations. Capturing the constant fluid motion required meticulous photographic setup and techniques, and countless iterations. The resulting images, some measuring just a few millimeters in diameter, were captured via macrophotography within a working area of less than 10cm x 10cm.
